CLIX Starter Kit — Never Lose Your Sunglasses Again

Drop your shades one too many times off the boat, the golf cart, or the dugout bench? CLIX is a magnetic retention system that solves that: no bulky cord around your neck, no strap dangling off your hat. Just two small magnets, hidden where no one can see them, holding your glasses exactly where you left them.

How it works:

1. Sleeve your glasses. Place the sticky side of the small CLIX magnets onto the temple tips (the arms) of your favorite sunglasses.
2. Slide and heat. Take the appropriate-sized heat-shrink tubing (there are 2 sizes), slide it over the top of the small magnet, and heat it. Heat gun or lighter. (Seriously, a lighter works super quick... try it on the extra heat shrink to see how fast it shrinks if you're worried)
3. Anchor your hat. Attach the CLIX anchor to the inside seam or lining of your hat, cap, or visor. It sits flush and stays out of sight on the inside sweatband. The magnet or the pin shouldn't be visible from the outside.
4. CLIX them together. Your magnetic system is ready! The sleeve magnets will attach to your anchor magnets when you have your glasses on top of your hat AND while you're wearing your sunglasses over your eyes. It's a game changer because... ONCE IT CLIX, IT STICKS!

See it in action: Watch the drop test and note that there is one hat with no CLIX installed and one hat with CLIX installed. Both get lifted 12 inches and dropped. The glasses without CLIX hit the ground. The glasses with CLIX stay locked in place.

Why it works better than a cord:
Traditional retainers hang your glasses off your neck or dangle a strap from your hat — the CLIX magnetic retention system keeps everything discreet, snag-free, and off your face when you're not wearing them. When the anchor magnets are positioned just right, you can even attach your glasses while you're wearing them on your face, so your glasses won't slide down the bridge of your nose anymore.

Fit note: CLIX sleeves are designed to fit the vast majority of sunglasses temples. They currently aren't compatible with thin metal frames or aviator-style temples — if that's your go-to pair, reach out to us before ordering, and we're happy to help you figure out the best fit.
